Metal Access Panel with Picture Frame (Non-Fire Rate)
Designed primarily for uses in dry lined ceiling or wall structures.
The picture frame are ideal for fitting into existing walls and ceilings.
Our metal access panels provide access to:
- Building services
- Concealed Flues, Ducts & Chimney Systems
- Walls
- Ceilings
Suitable for Part J Building Regs, which specifies the provision of access hatches to allow visual inspection of concealed flue & chimney systems.
Part J Building Regulations state that access should be at least 300 x 300mm and should not adversely affect existing fire, thermal and acoustic provisions. (See the attached PDF by NHBC above or visit the link below direct to the 2010 Part J Regs document.)
