The A.E.G. BS 18CL, with PRO Li-Ion battery technology is a powerful 18 volt compact drill driver with a 23-stage torque adjustment an additional drilling stage which provides greater flexibility and precision whatever the material and screw size.
The BS18C has the most up to date electronic switch with variable speed for improved accuracy and less damage to screw heads. The two-speed planetary synchromesh gear is a unique design and gives this drill driver maximum torque.
This drill driver has a strong metal 1.5-13mm keyless chuck for comfortable one handed bit and drill changing. A.E.G have combined power and comfort with the most up to date ergonomic soft-grip handle design for more comfortable use.
The drill driver has a buil-in LED light for illuminating the workpiece.
Batteries are changed easily by sliding them on and off.

The AEG PRO LiTHIUM ION technology protects both battery and machine in 3 ways:
1) Thermal Overload protection
The thermal overload protection constantly monitors the temperature of the battery and automatically safeguards against overheating, therefore increasing the life of the battery pack.
2) Current Overload protection
Too much current draw can permanently damage the cells of the battery thus reducing battery life. The Pro Lithium Ion current overload protection automatically shuts the battery down if the current levels get too high,but automatically resets its self so there is no loss of productivity.
3) Individual cell monitoring
Individual cell monitoring ensures every cell in the battery is performing to its maximum capability to ensure optimum productivity. The cell monitoring also runs throughout the charge process to make sure no cells are damaged at this time.
