Plastic Hinged Access Panel with door panel which is both hinged and removable for unobstructed access.
Hinged Plastic Access Panels can be installed in minutes and have 100s of uses.
They provide the perfect solution for repairing damage to walls or for creating access to:

To fit, simply apply a caulking adhesive to the back of the frame and press it into place.
These professional access panels with hinged doors have a white, lightly textured finish to allow for painting or wall papering on top.
Made from 1/8" high impact, professional quality, heavy duty styrene plastic.

- Door Size: 459 x 459mm (approx 18" x 18")
- Actual Frame: 510 x 510mm
PLEASE NOTE: We recommend that this size panel not be used in the ceiling. We are looking into this and hope to resolve this issue in the near future. This does not apply to any other sizes, which are all suitable for ceiling and wall installation.

I was very pleased with the prompt delivery and notication of the courier. When I opened the package I notice that the hatch was in a sealed bag but had a dirty mark approximately 50mm in diameter on the front face. I have not yet fitted but other than the dirty mark it seems functional. The hatch is going to be used in a ground floor w/c so will be on show. I hope the mark comes of with some cleaning

I read the review saying that is was not suitable for ceilings but I brought one anyway as the price was right for the size I needed. The problem is the door bows from it own weight, it clips in ok at the end opposite the hinge but the two sides bow out as the clips at the side are inadequate. If it was one of the smaller ones then I am sure it would work fine.
TCD Reply - We are sorry that this was not suitable for your job, however this is the reason that we do not recommend this panel for the ceiling. These are fine for use in the wall, and all other panel sizes are suitable for the ceiling.
