Luckily my uncle is a plumber and has been for over 30 years. My Uncle Llywelyn is the reason I got into Plumbing.

Funny enough I was going on holiday one day my passport was out of date and I had to stay with my uncle. It all started from following him on a job which I took a liking to. When I got back I decided that I was going to start a career path as a plumber.

I started my apprenticeship at a small family run business in East London. The experience in the knowledge I got from that job was priceless. Working alongside engineers who have been working for over 30 years there’s a great amount of experience and knowledge I was passed on during my apprenticeship. Working with gas engineers domestic and commercial heating engineers electricians gave me a lot of knowledge and confidence in what I was doing.

As a plumber it’s definitely humbling to know that you can solve a customers problems with good solutions. And that definitely gives you a feeling of doing a good job helping somebody else.

How long the process tends to take sometimes when you’re getting materials for jobs and it brings a delay on the progress of the job.

Moving a radiator in a property of one wall onto another wall. The job was going well I drain down the system move the radiator.

Connected back up the pipes underneath the floor put the floor board back down .

And when I was at the last point of filling up the system. I started to hear a whistling sound coming out of the radiator .

It was coming from the radiator bleed valve I couldn’t find it I was panicking I had to pull everything out of my tool bag just to find one I’ve never sweat so much on a job.
