Delivery costs will be calculated when your preferred delivery option has been selected based on the delivery address and the goods in your basket. Royal Mail deliveries will have no online tracking information. All other delivery options will be fully trackable and a signature will be required. Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm on working days (excludes weekends and bank holidays). Please note there is a 3pm cut off for Next Day delivery options. Free standard delivery (2–3 day service) is available on UK mainland orders over the value highlighted on the website (excludes Highlands & Islands).

The ForgeFix Cavity Wall Anchors, Zinc Plated, Bag from ForgeFix.

These Forgefix Cavity Wall Anchors are a specialist plasterboard fixing with pozi and slotted combination drive insert. They have an all-metal construction for applications which require heat resistance and are Zinc Plated for increased resistance to corrosion. The anchors have anti-rotation teeth, which pierce the base plasterboard skin to ensure firm anchorage.

APPLICATION:
All metal construction means the anchors are suitable for the heavier duty tasks such as fixing radiators and wall units.

Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate’s surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminum and stainless steels by their oxide layers.

We are also able to accept returns by post to our warehouse, but unfortunately, we are not able to arrange or pay for postage, and this would be at your own expense.
