The Metabo 18V Brushless Angle Grinder Bare Unit 613090850 is an ideal cordless angle grinder for trade professionals as well as DIYers. The brushless motor ensures a longer tool life whilst providing maximum power, even when working under load.
Its slim design is advantageous for many reasons, it provides the user with maximum comfort and allows for better access into hard to reach spaces and easier overhead working. It also has a fast brake system for added user safety to stop the disc within a matter of seconds after switching off. The tool-free disc change increases productivity and reduces downtime between jobs, meaning jobs can be finished nice and quickly with ease.
There is also reduced kickback if the disc stops unexpectedly, yet again increasing user safety. The tool life is extended from the brushless motor and the overload protection as the motor is protected from overheating. When starting the machine it has been designed with a soft start for a smooth start-up to prevent damage or scuffing to workpieces. This is a body only, naked machine, it is not supplied with batteries or a charger, it is however supplied with a guard, an inner support flange, a quick-locking nut and a side handle.
