The three-speed direct drive motor gearbox allows for easy selection of the blade cutting speeds compared to belt-driven bandsaws. The heavy-duty cast iron fixed head bow allows cutting between 0° and 45° using an adjustable vice, making it suitable for round, square and rectangular sections. The adjustable hydraulic ram dampener aids smooth cutting descent and control for greater blade control, while the auto-stop cut function engages when the cutting process is complete. The saw is supplied with a bi-metal vari-pitch blade for enhanced cutting performance, and a manual blade tensioner ensures the blade cuts cleanly and accurately. The coolant system extends blade life and cools the cutting area, while the adjustable cast iron vice securely holds the workpiece for precise cutting. Enhanced safety features include a low voltage (24v) control circuit to minimize electric shock, interlocking switches to prevent the saw running when the blade guard or belt pulley covers are opened, and adjustable blade covers to limit exposure during cutting for greater user safety.
